Lunetta

We had a lovely dinner at Lunetta in Canberra. The food was amazing — especially the beef tartlet and the market fish, which had perfectly crispy skin and beautifully cooked flesh. The Yamba prawns were full of flavour, and the wood fired molasses sourdough with whipped Valserena cultured salted butter was excellent. The butter tasted a little unusual on its own but paired perfectly with the bread. The venison was cooked very well, and the homemade lemonade was also a standout. While the food was impressive, the service could have been more attentive — particularly for a newly hatted restaurant. I had to look around a few times to get my drinks refreshed, and the sourdough felt like something that should have been complimentary. Overall though, the meal itself was exceptional and worth visiting for the food and views of the city alone.

A wonderful place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were served by Alia and she was absolutely fantastic! Alia was very knowledgeable about the food and the wines and really made our experience so amazing. The food was beautiful, highly recommend the oysters and the ravioli!

Talk about a truly unique experience, if not the most that Canberra has to offer. As soon as you enter, you are greeted with the warmest company, accompanied by the most breathtaking views. The wine selection was marvellous, and the sunset..... "Simply gorgeous!"

Beautiful venue with attentive service that mostly hits the mark. The atmosphere is stylish and welcoming, though it does get rather noisy during peak hours, making conversation somewhat challenging. The food is generally well-executed, though I found the duck served in a bowl rather than on a plate to be an odd presentation choice that didn’t enhance the experience. The by-the-glass red wine selection could use some improvement - it felt limited compared to what you’d expect at this price point. Their absolute standout is the cheese service for dessert - truly exceptional and worth saving room for! The selection and presentation were impeccable, making for a memorable end to the meal. Despite a few minor quirks, Lunetta delivers a solid dining experience that’s worth visiting when you’re looking for something special in RedHill.

Visited for lunch just after Valentine's Day. It was a lovely experience. The panoramic views make the location so unique and the muted tones of the decor let the views be the centrepiece. The maitre d and staff were knowledgeable of the food and drinks menu, making suggestions and recommendations. I commend restaurants that go that extra mile to train their staff around the menu and it shows in the service they provide which was very evident at Lunetta. Now to the food, we got the Amaretto Sour and Old Fashioned for drinks and they were sublime, well balanced and not too punchy for lunch. the oysters which started off our meal were delicate and were complemented by the dressing. The sourdough bread was unique with its molasses crust, I could've eaten that all day. The tuna crudo and buratta entrèes were well put together and even though on the opposite ends of the taste and texture spectrum they didn't fight for attention. The mains of porchetta and duck were densely flavoured but not heavy and the heirloom tomato salad was a perfect accompaniment. We ordered the chocolate and fig for dessert, which echoed the characteristics of the previous courses and were the perfect punctuation to a delicious meal. Will definitely go back to try their winter menu.

We had the most amazing experience at Lunetta last night. The service was exceptional, our food was mind blowingly good, especially the ravioli and the view was amazing at sunset. Cannot fault anything. The lemon tart was the best lemon tart I’ve ever eaten. We will definitely be back.

Exquisite experience in an iconic location! First the interior design is amazing. The layout and fittings bring a sophisticated and suave atmosphere. The seating offers panoramic views of all the beauty of our Nations Capital with a quiet and peaceful ambience. Next the drinks offer a range of classic cocktails and a well thought out wine list. The service is first class. Finally the food, it was simply amazing! Every dish was thoughtful, matching fresh produce with perfect flavours and delightful accompaniments. I have not had a better meal in Canberra. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a special place to celebrate, to show people the beautiful views of Canberra or if you’re searching for an unbeatable fine dining option. 10/10
